provider和supplier的区别，一道BEC选择题，高手进~~答：这属于“推敲”问题。两个都可以，只是那一个更好些。就象汉语中的“提供者”（provider)和“供应商”（supplier) 一样，我们不说：“提供商”。查辞典可能可以解决这个问题： provider n.（名词） 1. One who supplies a means of subsistence: 养家活口的人：提供生计的人： parents who were good providers. 养家出色的父母 2. One that makes something, such as a service, available: 供给者：提供某物，比如一种服务的人： primary health care providers. 最初保健护理者该辞典中没有supplier词条，只是在动词supply后面继承中略提一下： supply vt. 1. To make available for use; provide. 供应；提供（所需物品） 2. To furnish or equip with: 配备：（把…）供应给： supplied sheets for every bed. 给每张床铺上床单 3. To fill sufficiently; satisfy: 装满；满足： supply a need. 满足需要继承用法: suppli“er n.（名词）看了辞典后我感觉我原来的理解是可以的， supplier 译为“供应商”，提供的是有形的，物质的商品而provider译作“提供者”，不仅是有形的物质的商品，也可以是无形的服务。
